Teak is naturally resistant to moisture, warping and pest damage, which matters for a frame meant to be displayed for years, not replaced every few. It also finishes with a richer grain and weight than MDF or thin plywood alternatives.
Why the resin grade matters more than it looks like it should
Not all epoxy resin is equal. Premium crystal-clear resin resists yellowing and UV-related clouding far longer than budget alternatives, which is exactly where cheaper preserved pieces tend to disappoint their owners two or three years in.
