Resin is applied and cured in layers, not poured once and finished immediately. Each layer needs time to cure fully before the next is added, which is what genuinely takes the bulk of the three-to-six-week window — not a backlog of orders.
Drying and preparing the flowers themselves, before any resin work begins, also adds time, particularly for garlands that arrive slightly fresh rather than already dried.
What happens during those weeks
After your varmala is photographed on arrival, it goes through drying and preparation, then multiple resin pour-and-cure cycles, followed by sanding and finishing. You receive progress updates at key stages, and real photographs and video of the completed piece before final payment.
